The_Treasure_Cave_by_mepolimage credit:

I carry a cave

in my backpack of life

weighed down

by the treasures it holds

and no matter how quickly

I share of its gifts

it’s like a nanny’s bag

with no bottom

for when I delve in

arms lost till the elbows

I fall

head over heels

into pure potential

the one thing I can’t

give away

for it’s of this that I’m made

and each one has their own

so I’ll share

and I’ll give

leave potential full free

and tempt God back inside

to refill me again

for nature abhors a vacuum

they say

and I’d say –

I believe God does too
